The first awesome part about this recipe is that it is cooked in an air fryer. We just recently got an air fryer (amazon) and I never knew we would love a kitchen gadget so much.

The best part about it is that it cooks foods so much faster than normal. So when you want to make a quick appetizer such as jalapeño poppers, you can throw them together, toss them in the air fryer and they’re finished within about 15 minutes.

No more waiting for the bacon to get crispy enough when they’re baking in the oven.

Ingredients:

12 jalapeños or 12 peppers of choice (I recently used Wenk’s Yellow Hots and they were great)

12 slices of bacon (thin cut bacon)

4-8 oz. of cream cheese

Directions:

Slice the peppers in half lengthwise and remove seeds.

Cut the bacon slices in half so you will have 24 pieces of bacon.

Fill each halved pepper with cream cheese and then wrap it in a cut piece of bacon and stick a toothpick through to hold it together.

Jalapeños Stuffed With Cream Cheese

Once all of the peppers are stuffed with cream cheese and wrapped in bacon put them inside of the air fryer and cook at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes until the bacon is finished.

Recipe Notes: If you don’t have an air fryer yet you should get one because they are amazing! But you can still make this recipe in an oven.

Just cook at 400 degrees for about 25 minutes or until the bacon is crispy.

Best Uses for Air Fryer Bacon Wrapped Jalapeño Poppers

They are a great appetizer no matter what the occasion.

We make them as a side dish with dinners almost weekly to use up all my fresh peppers from the garden.

If you are doing low carb or keto they are the perfect food.

Lastly, they only use 3 ingredients, are super fast to throw together, and taste amazing!
